[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I found this toad skinny-dipping in the pool last night. Whenever you see frogs and toads swimming, they are always in muddy pools with dirty water. The toad looked amazing in the clear water. You could see every move. Could even see the third protective eyelid. As shown in the photo.

PS: I'm not a 100% sure but I think this is a Guttural Toad. Scientific name: Bufo Gutturalis

Can anyone confirm this or ID correctly?

It is indeed an amazing looking toad, Jannie. Excellent focus shows off the beautiful markings. The colors are stunning, though a bit on the bright side. The blue in the water makes a great BG. TFS. : )

Hi Jannie,
He looks great. Very vivid colors and sharp detail. Thats whats great when you have to fish them out of your pool. The water is so clear that when they dive down, they can't hide.

I think this is a great shot. The colours are lovely and the toad in such a clear water really looks amazing. That makes the whole picture looks a little unnatural, but at least it's interesting.
