Very kooky and neat looking eagle. You have captured it well, Callie, and I have no nits...extremely well done. The note is terrific as well. And I did see the bee even before I read your note! :0)

Great shot Callie.
I thing she need a hairdresser.
Great colours and very pose, compostion and detials.
I like the WS too.
Great work.
1/1600 5,6 at ISO 200, it's what I can dream about.
1/400 4.0 at ISO 800 is more reasonable here at present.:-(((.
but soon will the light be back.;-)

excellent colours and sharp detail.

Thanks for posting
Is she your secretary? Callie. Nice legs. She's having a bad hair day, are you stressing her out. LOL
Excelent capture with the beatle coming in on the right side of the frame at beak level.
Well done with this composition.
Hey, how about a close up of the dung beatle, I think they are cool looking beatle.

Hi Callie. I've always liked these bird (although I don't know if 'like' is really the correct word for it ... they intrigue me). Your note makes them even more fascinating. I was trying to make sense of the zoological handle. I think it translates as 'snake archer' or something like that. It certainly is a unique bird. You definitely wouldn't want to take a kick in the guts from one of these,if Steve Irwin (the crocodile hunter) is to be believed.***OOPS...thats the Cassowary I'm thinking of. Doh!
A great shot Callie, and good workshop pic.

It looks like the little dung-beatle is trying his best to get out the picture, before he is eaten.

Callie, that's an awesome photo of a very interesting insect at flight! It trully amazes me how you managed to capture such a small flying object from that distance but it seems that the x2 TC does wonders! However, I would prefer a tighter crop so to avoid the useless space on the right...............
...............
....
......................
;-))) I was refering to the fly on the upper-right spot of your photo, don't take me wrong!!!
Your Secretarybird,... well she should definately change her hairdresser!!!
Great photo as always!!!

We were only talking about this earlier: "Callie's Fast Photo Joint, photos to order" :-)
Great shot Callie and thanks for the extra WS pic. I like the shot the black looks very black but the rest is all perfectly exposed.

Nice photo Callie, at first I think the bird may be a little left side of the frame (for more space in front of her and through the flying path of the bee) then noticed its tail feather just nearly touching the left side, so birds position is ok for me now :) congratulations.

Hi Callie,
The bird looks quite disturbed. Did he saw you before you took the picture?
Amazing that you see those kind of birds. He looks like if flew by accident trough a carwash.
Nice anyway,
Hendrik.

Ik deze vogel zelf in de dierentuin hier nog niet gezien Callie, zeer mooi gefotografeerd, het is een rare vogel maar inderdaad zijn haar (pluimen) zijn niet al te best.
Mooi Callie

Okay, she has a few serious issues to deal with. The hair has too much gel, the fur coat was in the wardrobe without mothballs and the moths have had a monster buffet, the legs..... well maybe wearing long trousers would be advisable, she needs some tips on applying makeup and lets hope she doesn't ask 'Honey, does my butt look big?'
If my husband phoned and said he was out with the Secretary I know there would be nothing to worry about!
Great image of a very strange bird. Gosh Mother nature can be cruel. TFS.

This retro-punk ROCKS! I know you couldn't wait to get this one out here. Paul & I had a chat and "wham-bam" there it was! "fast photo joint" as Paul said, indeed. Thanks for showing off this exceptionally grand shot of this "snake charmer". I really wish I had only but one capture of it. Very well done in this desert sun too.

Hahaha, a real bad hair day eh? gosh, he is a bit mess, and you have captured that. I am sure he is a good looking bird if he got his hair done well. Very good shot, great composition, is like the bird is waiting for you to take the shot. Very well done.

I'm sad for this secretary. She goes to the wrong hairdresser, the wrong clothes shop, the wrong make-up artist. At 600mm, seems you were too far to whisper in her ears the good addresses. Well, nobody's perfect, and, if she likes it, ok. Now, this one is again a great personality you send us, an unbelievable character. Very well done, Callie. It's time to have a snooze. She'll be in my dreams!
