[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This peculiar bulb was found north of Sutherland at the high altitude of 1700 m. It grows in a stony plateau and is almost invisible since it is so short. I find all the Cape bulbs exciting, each one is so different from the other. Androcymbium belongs to the autumn crocus family - Colchicaceae.

Hello Ori,
Indeed a very peculiar plant species. So I see it's something like succulent autumn crocus. Cool! Nice composition and good details.
Best greetings,
Michal

Thanks Ori for sharing the information and picture.

This is an amazing flower Ori. It always facinates me that such lush flora can grow is such dry conditions. The flower is most attractive and your pov from above works very well. Nice colours and clean and sharp.

Bonjour Ori,

Amicalement,
Hervé
