[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Early morning in the Kalahari (South African) this Lilac Breasted Roller (Afrikaans: Troupant - spelt with a "d" at the end it means a wedding pledge, so there is an air of romance around this little bird) puffed itself up against the cold morning waiting for the sun to rise. I am posting this only to share the beauty of it.

A beautiful bird - very sharp and great POV. I don't know whether you might have been able to move to your right to reduce the overexposed sky in this shot. I posted a WS to bump the saturation and blacks. I tried a tighter crop, but yours is best.
