[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This amazing insects eat Asclepiads (poisonous plants), therefore they become poisonous themeselves and hense their alarming colours. The one in the pic is a nymph, you can see its undevelopeed wings.
I will be greatfull if anpybody knows the species name.

wwoooww ale cudak!! u nas takich nie ma!!:( przepiekny potworek:)

Hi Ori,
o my god, this one looks realy dangerous!
With the short wings it looks like a water-animal IMO. Very good shot, I love the colours and sharpness, thanks

This really is a cool insect, I only wish you had a full frame of this beauty! Nice shot otherwise. :)

Lovely colours and detail although the crop is a bot to tight on the top for my personal liking. TFS!

Ori:
Only something very toxic can afford to be so conspicuous! This is an outrageously gaudy locust - sorry, can't help you with the species but the genus seems to be correct. I can only repeat the opinions above - I would have liked to see the whole insect in-shot.
Regards, Nigel.

Wow, superbe picture of this outstanding cricket! Your close-uo focuses on interesting bulbuous details on thorax, head and wings. The striped abdomen seems really long compared to other crickets! Thanks for sharing!
