This one is also a very good owl shot, Callie, although, I have a weakness for the Southern White-faced Scops-owl! Looking at differences, I find this one is less artistic (background and eyes essentially). But, on the other side, I love the way he turns his head nearly at 180° and his pose with visible feet. Thanks for your note about eyes.

Another great owl capture here. Great color and detail. Nice composition and backround. There have been so many great owl shots posted by many diffrent contributors. The bar is being raised higher and higher. Great Work!

Nice shot. But it is a pity that the trees on the background are so imposing and distract a little bit our attention. A good theme for this pictyre would be "camouflage".

Well, I am impressed that you found a clear shot through the branches. The eyes of a predator are usually something unforgettable and this one is no different. This is a very natural shot and composition. I like it a lot.
