I really do enjoy this photo.......and how!!!
This is a great close-up shot of superb quality.
Perfect composition, sharpness and exposure due to wich the feather details, even the white ones, are wonderfully visible.
Also love the color contrast, the way the Plover does stand out against the BG and clarity of the image very much.

a very nice picture with lovey colours and lighting.
The sharpness and exposure are great, all details like the beautiful eye are well seen. But IMO the composition could have been a bit better; now the legs are cut off, even if the legs a hidden it's always good to give the space so the viewer can imagination the legs, it's the same for a animal in long grass, otherwise it' a great picture.

This is a fantastic close-up with very sharp details.
The light and colors are wonderful.
Love that orange ring around the eye.
It sort of bothers me that you cropped out where his legs would have gone.
Even though they are not showing (because they are underwater), the cropping so close to the belly makes it look truncated and unnatural.
Just my opinion.
A really beautiful portrait of this plover.

This is a great sharp image with fantastic color. That eye is just amazing. I do agree with ManYee's comment about the close crop on the bottom. The bird though is wonderful.
