Great timings. The feet are still touching the ground. The color of the rock, beak & feet against the OOF blue BG is looking wonderful.

Mike,
What a perfect moment you capture with this heron spreading its massive wings ready for take of. Great composition with generous room for it to fly into. Technically a bit grainy but not bad. This deserved much more attention. I really enjoy looking at this beautiful creature. Thanks
