Hi Ori, this is a fine capture of this yellow Iris (Bobartia longicyma). In this one view, you've given us a straight on view with the open petals, a side view providing a cup like appearance and a view of the unopened flowers. The colour is very good. With a little imagination, having read your note, I almost believe I'm looking at ash on the ground, so you've taught us something too.
Thanks, John
Hello Ori,
I prefer this one 'cause it is a natural light one.
South Africa is probably a paradise for botanists:-)
