Looking at the female's eye, it doesn't seem like she's very impressed. That looks like a pretty serious stare. One can hardly call this a tender moment. On the other hand, looking at those incisors displayed by the male, one could possibly deduct that the female's look might be more out of fear. Although, she sports a rather fearsome set of fangs herself, but it does not seem to be a match for his.

An impressive capture of this lion interaction. A well composed and cropped posting with excellent exposure control and very natural colours.

It is good seeing one from your lens again.

Like everyone else has already said,this is a superb capture. The way you have cropped the scene has given perfection to an amazing scene. You are so lucky to have seen this in Kruger - I have never, after more than 40 visits spanning a week at a time, seen this in Kruger. You certainly did not waste the moment.
