This is a lovely portrait shot...The crisp sharp details with the eye lashes and whiskers are stunning...Having had the use of the same lense as you I am close to getting the 300mm f2.8..Once used there is nothing fine as you have shown here,

I recently painted a zebra portrait very much like this. Your sharp image shows me where I went wrong and where I was correct too. I missed the fuzziness of the forehead and mine has curlier eyelashes!!!!! : )
