Kruger. Day 17. 17:30.

Was able to capture the valuable golden light on my electronic sensor. A drawing with light sensation.
Unfortunately the time is limited, it isn't always there and if it is, then there are no animals to spot and last but not least the camps are closing at 18:00.
This female Impala was a great model though.

More Impala images and other South African antelopes you can find through clicking my Kruger National Park travelogue. Recently I uploaded another female taken (same session) here

ISO 400.
From inside car. IS on. No beanbag.

another great capture, TFS Ori

Though reminicent of your previous picture of the Impala, this one is actually more eloquent in conveying the impression of the personality of this subject, Annick.
The backlit subject looks almost ethereal here. Your use of aperture value has turned even the other beast within the frame inot a blur.
I like the technique.
Well done!
Ram

Hallo Annick,
Goed weekend,
Peter

Striking image of this Impala, Annick!
what's so good about this shot is the ground-level POV.
It makes the shot much more natural and much more eye-catching.
Superb back-light and fantastic exposure.
Very, very sharp and crisp.
Superb DOF too that blurs the BG but not so much that we can't make out the other Impala in the BG.
Just superb.

TFS!

Hi again

I was looking at this gorgeous photo for some time now and finally made some time to tell you how much i love it :)
The light here is simply perfect and the contour it gives this delicate impala is just fantastic!!!
The shallow DOF worked wonders yet again, while the exposure is a master's work - retaining the best details even in the dark areas despite shooting almost against the light.
Absolutely stunning! Definitely a fav. :)

BRAVO and TFS
Horia
