This is a male Impala. It was a hot day after having a few rainy days. The harsh sun is already quite high here. Nevertheless this specific light, I decided to post this one ‘cause he posed actually very well;-) and it was a beautiful animal with perfect horns.

You can view several Impala images in my Kruger National Park travelogue as well as many other Kruger antelope species.

Hi Annick,
very beautiful portrait of this impala.
There's no need to say anything about the technically aspects, they are great as always ;)
I like the light on it's back. It's great that the Impala is looking at the camera.

Hi Annick.
Once more amazing photo model is posing you. You are happy photographer. I like the precise DOF. You have selected it perfectly. It is clear composition is spot on. This time your assistant (I even cannot say aloud who is it) did not do all he could with illumination. However, great wild picture. My best wishes to all your team.
Alexei.

Yes, the beauty of this graceful pose is what that struck me the first time i saw the shot. The lighting seem to also provide a softened feel to his features thus making the composition really wonderful. Those horns are really beautiful and the close-up shot is a very fitting way to present them.
Very well done.
TFS & Cheers
