great shot of this beautiful plover Paul... I like the colors much... a good focus, and a very nice composition... I think a little bit far, that is could not distract the bird from BG... but so pleasent to see him at his natural environment... I like so much...

congratulations...

I agree with twin. It's greatly captured bird, but the background is a bit of a mess. If you could blur it a bit, it would make this very nice.
But, I know it is not easy to capture a moving bird and think of the background in the same time...;o)
