Hi Annick,
if birds could look grumpy, then this one would! What a face! A superb shot, with the pale blueish grey sky background making the subject really stand out. Great detail and framing too, well done. One for my faves.

Hi Annick,

You have captured this Hornbill from great POV and with good pose incuding eye contact. Composition is good and details pin sharp as always. Colours are bright natural.

Great photo and comment. It is allways difficult to get the exposure right on the white areas of these guys. You have handled this well.

Hi Annick,

This Hornbill is wonderful - he's all head with that huge beak and marvelous yellow eye. Wonderful details of the face and plummage. Razor sharp details, wonderful pose, and a background that makes the Hornbill jump out of the frame.

Hallo Annick
Due to the fact that I have been ill, I just could not give my comments to some of the lovely images that appeared and past me by on the gallery. Now I have such a lot of catching up to do so please pardon me for only saying……………………Splendid image. It is indeed a feast to the eye and it did not go unnoticed. Details of the eye and the fine plumage on the head is captured remarkably well.
