| Penquins of the family Spheriscidae are a group of aquatic flightless birds living almost extensively in the southern hemisphere. There are between 17 and 20 species.Largest being the Emperer Pinquin weighing about 35 Kg. and the smallest the Blue Penquin weighing 1 Kg. Most feed on krill,fish,squid and other forms of sealife. They spend half their lives on land and the other half in the water. |
