I think this one great. The POV is really good and emphsises the power of the big rhino. The grass is natural and doesn't distract from the beauty of the shot. Good PP on the light, looks very natural to my eye.
Great sharpness and composition.

Belle image de cet animal devenu si rare. J'aime les images naturelles, pas trop sophistiquées. Ne sont-elles pas plus le reflet de la réalité? On peut toujours corriger les défauts les plus flagrants, mais sans exagération, comme tu l'as fait ici. Un grand merci de nous montrer tous ces trésors de l'Afrique.

Hi Annick,

Beautiful picture of the Rhino. Seems to match the color of the background. The grass in the front adds character to the picture. You seem to have taken the picture from a lower plane. Gives an excellent POV.

You did a very good job with shadow/highlight to bring out detail in the underbelly without overdoing it. Nicely done.

I was sure you didnt have just the one picture!!..This one is absolutley spot on in all aspects.
Its interesting you note that although the 400mm is indeed a fine Tele it still cant look through dense undergrowth..I have many pictures of birds where there is a branch that has strayed into the field of vision and thought thats a great capture only to be dissapointed on closer inspection later.
Very interesting note also as to how you made slight adjustments to the image later.
