That red beak and orange eye ring seem so incongruous with the otherwise neutral toned bird. I love all the detail. Nice work

Annick, she is certainly a strange looking bird - as all these plovers are. The yellow eye and red eye-make-up seem to clash colourwise, but you show her well. Good lighting and colours

Nice close-up of this bird. I like the beginning of reflection on the water and despite the sun, the white are correct. Is it me or the bird missing a little sharpness?

A splendid close-up of this beautiful Plover. The eye is a masterpiece. Wonderful sharpness and clarity of the entire bird showing off the beautiful wings and plummage. His feathers are all so perfect it looks like he was just groomed. Beautiful colors, nice setting with the reflections, beautiful pose and the centered composition is lovely.
