Excellent shot Annick, POV is very well chosen and the contrast between those black & white stripes is well exposed. Perfect DOF and first class details - well done!

This zebra looks like waiting for you and your camera! I like this close-up and portrait. You kept head of the mammal in very good DOF and sharpness. I like also a frame which corresponds with white stripes of zebra ;)

Hi Annick. Great close up of the head on this Zebra. You have captured the detail and markings so well. As we can see they are not total black and white but they have some brown. well done TFS.

Zebras are those animals that everyone likes! Maybe it is because of childhood jokes about horses in pyjamas, I'm not sure, but they are the most delightful animals to look at.
From this pose, it would appear that they like to look at humans, too!
The shot is perfectly composed, the focus is as sharp as a pin and the details are just excellent!

A fine frontal portrait indeed Annick, of a curious looking fellow. The contrasty design on its face reminds me of op-art graphics. Your exposure is, as usual, faultless...

However, I wish say "Hi" to this charming animal too. Amazing close-up and reproduction of all beautiful details of the zebra and its internal world. I am delighted. Bravo.
An excellent shot - wonderful detail and superb exposure.
Got back from Namibia yesterday at 4.30am - I think I got some reasonable shots of Hartman's Zebra.

Excellent portrait of this Burchell's zebra, the frame has been filled in nicely where one can just sit back an admire the beautiful stripes of this African resident. Very nice note on Burchell.
Well done Annick. :)

You have made a very fine portret of the Zebra. It is not only the fine pose of the animal but also the excelent way you have captured the light. The skin of the animal is shown in great sharpness and even the fine refelection of the light can be well observed.
Thank you for sharing,

If I look at this image it seems as if this guy was playing the perfect model. This is a great close-up with excellent clarity and focus. This is such a simple yet splendid shot. Really well managed and taken. The black and white lines are displayed well and perfect lighting at the right places in this shot really says it al. The hairs on the chin adds that special touch to this already special portrait. Thanks for this contribution.
