| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| This is a pic taken at Wolhuterskop Nature Reserve south of Bethlehem. It is of beetles of the family Coccinellidae that aggregate to overwinter in these groups. Although this behaviour regularly occurs in many species in this family, I am not able to identify these insects to species level. Unfortunately, when I returned to here in the summer (December) most of the beetles were still in this crack, dessicated and obviously dead. |
