blackeyed bulbul - Pycnonotus barbatus.
Very common resident. Dark crested head, yellow vent and lack of conspicuous eye-ring identify this species.

although the pic looks as if the bird is scared at the mirror image of itself, it is actually getting ready to drink water. |
