Hi Gerhard, when I saw the thumbnail I thought that light looks a little strange for SA...I'm glad I read the note! Odd looking chap isn't he. Very nicely composed, I love the details here, his nose looks moist and the eyes glisten. Lovely job. I would be tempted to use a little blur on the BG above his head.

This is such a natural looking shot. It's great. I'm glad you didn't alter it with contrast and saturation like I would have been tempted to do.

C'est la première fois que je vois ce type de lion, merci Gerhard. Ton image est jolie. les details sont parfait, ainsi que la netteté. Le rendu du regard du lion par l'image est pratiquement hypnotique.

An amazing face. He does look sad though, or maybe pensive. Stunning beast. He has beautiful bright eyes and stunning mane. I especially like the bits caught in his mane. Doesn't look very old either. Interesting note. Nicely composed. Thanks

This is a great picture, Gerhard.
When I first saw the tumbnail I thought is was out of contrast and very pale. But its beautiful.
The eyes are amazing with the blue colour. Well composed and very god details.

Woow Gerhard.... white lion? In our culture, Animal that don't come with their "Traditional colours" and especially if they came with White colours, it means it is bring good luck. :) It is an amazing shot.... This is a beautiful portrait of a lion.
The framing is perfect and you caught a nice attitude of the lion, at the right time.
The exposure and the colors are correctly managed and seems to be very close to reality.
I read you note with careful attention and learnt a lot from it.

Very nice portrait of this wondeful lion. I love his color, his thick mane and yes, you are right, his blues eyes are striking. i didn't know such lions existed.
