Hi Miq
Nice environmental shot.
Swainson's Francolin are now known as Swainson;s SpurfowlT his is the Crested Francolin, Peliperdix sephaena, they are the ones with the :wipstert: raised tail when agitated, Swainsons has a redface, and we have 4 sub-species.
I would crop off about 50% of the top. This would improve the format and imapct a lot.

Very nice picture. i also tried to catch these guys on camera but they were moving too quick. Well Done miq
Hi Miq, and a belated welcome to TN. These critters always gives me a fright in the bush. They wait until you are very close and then jump out and fly off. Every time. Nice one.
Nice shot Miq. try a little sharpening and contrast to im prove the image. Only a suggestion.
