Pantera Leo.

These two little cubs, Simba and Chips, have a home just an hours drive from Jo'burg in South Africa. They stay on a farm with two very little cheetahs.

I had the amazing privilege of playing with them and watching them play.

Even at their young age the hunting instinct is clearly visible. They tried to catch a chicken, fortunately for the chicken he is still faster than them.

They look very soft and cuddly, but they are little balls of muscle and very solid. They also have a tendency to sneak up on people and jump them :-)

All in all it was an amazing experience.

As far as the photo goes, I would have liked to have the sitting cubs other ear also in the shot.

Pretty shot Johan

Focus is sharp and exposure is good. As you mentionned, my only critic would be the composition that is to tight here. Sometime we recommand tight framing, and some other time we recommand loose framing. You got the chance to have an 8MP camera. Give yourself room to reframe afterward. It is even more important with moving subject. There is nothing wrong with reframing. I often do it with film, so why not to do it with digital, as long as you don't get to careless at picture taking.
However you captured a pleasing moment in their lifes. Good work and TFS.

I like this very much, the light and colour turned our very well.
As for the other ear, I think this way the photo is more intimate.
Well done!
TFS!

Très belle composition asssez originale.

TFS

It's a very nice scene you have here. I would consider a less tight crop - wider zoom angle as Alain recommended. Well done.
