| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
This cheetah reminded me of a philosopher, he (I think) was sitting halfway in this bush. Maybe seeking shade or having himself a scratch. This cheetahs mate was lying next to it.
Like Socrates we will never have this cheetahs words or thoughts penned down, and can only ponder about what this beautiful creature is thinking about.
Cheetahs are the sprinters of nature. They can only sprint for short distances before their bodies start to overheat. I have found various claims as to their top speeds ranging from 90 km/h to 114 km/h. Although 97 km/h seems more likely.

Hi Johan,
Very good portrait!
Excellent sharpness and details,
great colours and nice frame.
Well done!
Nice job keeping exposure in check, good detail, especially like the reflections in the eyes.

Well done with this shot! He was clearly trying to ignore you, or maybe he wasn't aware of you at all.
I would have cropped it a bit closer, will do a workshop later.
