This beautiful bird is fairly abundant in the Pilansberg National Park. When the males fight they sometimes lock on to each other and fall out of the sky in a rolling motion from there the name. They are magnificant and the colors when in flight even more beautiful.

These birds are really beautiful and you've captured it well. I like the POV and framing a lot. Nice lighting too.

PS.I took a look at your gallery. You said you like to share your work with others. TN is a good place then, but if you post so many pictures and others spent their time looking at them and writing comments it would've been fair to do the same. That's what TN is all about. Hello Andre, nice shot. I like these birds alot, they have great colours. The composition is good but I think the picture could be a little sharper and there seems to be quite alot of noise in the BG, you can easily go some way to remove this. Well done.
