Hi everyone

I need your help. I have no idea what kind of bee this is.

Some info:
* It's a little bit smaller than a normal Honey Bee.

* It can hover in one spot very well and it's very fast.

* After collecting nectar from 5 or 6 flowers it bites onto the stem or leaf of another plant and hangs there while cleaning itself with ALL 6 of it's legs.

Can anyone help idea this bugger?

Thanx for viewing and let me know what you think.

Hi Jannie,

Well done and TFS

Hello Janie,
Very nice close-up. I like the POV and framing here. The picture is a little unsharp, but I guess that's because of the camera. The hot areas are a little distracting to me though. As for the ID, I can't help. Maybe it some kind of solitary bees? They usually are very hairy.
