[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
One morning early I was driving around the Kruger National Park, near Timbavati picnic spot and saw some Lion along the dirt road that had managed to make a kill the night before. They were just lying near to the road and all I could see was a couple of Lion paws protruding from the thick bush and a Zebra carcass.

The photographic opportunities were not very good at all and I decided to proceed down the road for about a kilometer and found some Zebra grazing. The side lighting caught 2 zebras that were not near any trees where the early morning shadows could fall on them.

The Lighting was great and the golden sunlight brought the Zebras to life. I always wonder if these were part of the same group that lost a zebra to the Lions the previous evening......

Your photo is very well composed inspite olf the difficulty conditions of the wild environment. Focus and colors are brilliant.

Hi Sheriff,
Great Hanging Out Zebras composition:)
I like your pov,his expression,colors,dof,note,details and natural framing.Well Done.TFS
Chris

I guess the pinkish colour on the white stripes of the zebras is because of the early morning light. You have used the available light to good advantage in this shot.

This Zebra was checking you out.
Great pic!

Hello Sheriff,
Lovely shot! The poses of Zebras, POV and warm light are great. I played a bit with your picture if you don't mind. I wanted to try change framing by cutting the space behind zebra and add some in front. I also played with contrast and colours to emphasize the low light and give picture more strenght.
I hope you like it.
VERY WELL DONE on this one!
