Great Willie, what are the white traces on BG?
A great shot even if a bit noisy.
TFS.

You're right, his stare is pretty strong ;-))
Good POV but the photo looks a bit soft. I don't know how your pictures usually are straight out of the camera, but from my camera they *always* need some sort of PP, even if just an extra sharpen..

Great shot Willie.
Good composition, pose and colours.
I know what camera you have but maybe you should try to give the picture a little extra USM as Bente say.
Very well done.

If he looks into the future, he looks worried about what he sees. Very good portrait. I speaks for itself. Agree that it needs a little PP: USM and noise reduction.

HI Willie
Pragtig!
They are now called Verreau's Eagle, as this is the name they are known by in the rest of Africa.
The eye is mezmerising! Great impact.
I would crop off the top 2 cm or so, all the "dark" parts - scroll down your screen and note the impact change in the image if it is not there to distract from the eye!
Mooi gedoen!

Nice mug of the black eagle. The intense stare is what I like about the eagles, very focused.
Well done.

Mike

You are right it has a very strong stare into the future :D
Details and composition with this wonderful BG are nice.
I agree about adding just a bit more USM.
Thanks for posting.
