Great shot Grehard.
I think the Weavers like their house, nice view and fresh air.
Great details, very good POV, composition and colours.
A excellent and informative note.
Great work.

Very good POV Gerhardt. She seems very happy in her newly built house so the male needed destroy and rebuild it. He is obviously an old campaigner. You say he has two wives, well all I can say is " some guys just don't learn now, do they."

Beautiful colours and great scene!
This is very nice nest. I think that my sparrows should take some lessons from this fellows cause they make their nests mostly from strings, scraps of fabric and any other quite strange and not very nice things ;-)

Love Story! This beautiful shot carries many meanings and could be used by advertising companies for a multitude of customers. A shot full of hope. The flowers also make the image. Poster quality! Very well catched, Gerhard.
Lovely shot Gerhard, how long did you have to 'hang around' to get this one? I like scene against the blue sky. Very nice work.

Beautiful photo, Gerhard. Great composition and use of the fill flash. Please tell me, with your IS lens, is it true that you can really do without a tripod most of the times? Great work, and thanks for sharing the result with us.

Great capture Gerhard. I love the composition and the picture is very clear - meaning plenty of details. I have seen these birds only on TV (I think by David Attenborrough) but very interesting. As I said - it is a lovely composition with the tweak and the nest. Large cute-factor and very pleasant to look at. Great not to follow.

Excellent! Een van die beste voel-foto's wat ek nog gesien het.
The point of view with all distractions avoided focuses beautifully on the subject. And she looks, o, so spoilt today!
I like!

What a beautiful nest. What wife wouldn't want such a home with flowers and green leaves decorating it like this. I love it. Great shot Gerhard - colours, compo, details, and 2 happy little birds. TFS.

Well, I'm late commenting, so it's all been said, really. I'll just add, then, that he seems to be a good provider, he even saw to it that missus has a flower garden right outside the front door ;-))
