Giant Ant, with wings after the rain. These ants undergo a Metamorphosis and grow wings to fly, thereby spreading their area they inhabit. The ant species of all species are the most prolific (abundant) and a food source for many predatory insects as well as mammals, like the Aardvark.

Hi Quinten,
A good macro of this ant,well captured with good sharpness and DOF,I dont like the yellow BG colors,but that is minor nit and personal,well done and TFS
