Sunset in the Kruger National Park. Photo was taken at the Satara camp. There were a few veld fires in the park at the time and the smoke contributed to this spectacular colouring.

Hoe rooier hoe mooier...

Dramatic colours, contrasts, and tone created a visually pleasing shot. Excellent sunset shot. I have taken a couple at Satara myself and with time I will still post those. Even when I visited during October month there ware still a large number of veld fires going.

Your composition is great with the silhouette of the old dead tree placed very strategically and reaching high into the red sky to an area which otherwise would have been an empty space in so many other sunset photos.

This one is good enough for a magazine cover. I recall a similar photo from Saudi Arabia that had the desertsun in
a sandstorm < a Shamaal >. I especially like the "kale boom"!

Hello Willem,
In december I made a sunset in mountain with nice colors, but when I see yours... It is more wonderful, the intense red sky is amazing and the contrast of dark trees is superb.
