Hi Paul,
impressive colors of the kingfisher with great sharpness.
Only point of critcism is the noisy green. I think you could easily reduce some with Neat Image...
Anyway, great capture,
Best regards
Oki

Hello Paul,
This is a very nice kingfisher photo with great colors. The image is sharp but there appears to some loss of detail on the beak, if I'm seeing right, possibly due to noise. The background blue helps enhance the red and the blue.
Best wishes,
Hakan

Hi Paul,

What a brilliantly coloured bird. Agree with you that I would fill my card with shots of this beauty. Good composition and sharpness. High ISO probably caused the noise in the BG. Did a workshop and removed the noise with NeatImage (as suggested) and it worked well.

What a beauty, Paul.
I really like his pose... interesting.
The colors are brilliant, with perfect exposure and light.
Very sharp details.
TFS. : )

Hi Paul

Great close up, but there is some noise in the shot. Colours are well saturated and I like the diagonal of the perch. :-)

Hi Paul,

Beautiful shot!! Love the sharpness of the image, the composition and the DOF. The beak is a little OOF -however, a lovely shot.

I have tried to take pictures of these birds and know how flighty they can be. I would reduce noise on this image as was done by the workshop.

TFS!!

Hello Paul,
I like the pose a lot,
Beautiful colors and blurry background,
The sharpness and details are great,
Wel done

Hi ya Paul, this sure is a different pose by this kingfisher.
I like that you captured it "in action" preening and cleaning.
