Taken wiht Nikon 8008S and 75-300mm lens somewhere in Tanzania. I think it may be a hornbill of some sort.

Wow, spectacular capture, Thomas! Too bad about all the noise - was it scanned?

Very interesting bird - take a look at the WS I posted, which gets rid of a lot of the noise and dust spots.

The quality is not very good. But the capture is excellent. Lot of times is hard to combine both.

Hi Thomas, I think this image is great. It is a shame about the noise but Alan's workshop shows you can get rid of a lot of it. The timing, exposure and composition are wonderful. TFS :)
