| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Taken near Lake Manyara with Nikon 8008S and Nikkor 75-300mm. Tomorrow back to digital technology. I have to do something with this ancient technology film photos so post them here where glaring technical deficiencies resulting from film as the capture media aren't quite so apparent.
There were an estimated 700-800 elephants present, which seems unprecedented. Not quite sure why so many gathered here at this time of the year. |

What a lot of elephats at their meeting - 700-800. Your photo, overlit as it is, shows us the real wild elephants that we would never get to see otherwise. I thank you for that Thomas. They look so tired and dirty from the mud. What a great experience you must have had.
And yes digital photography is the way to go.
