[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Tanzania has many reasons to visit the country for. One of them is wildlife, but there's also beautiful landscapes and mountains. The kilimanjaro as the highest mountain of the African continent is the most famous. While visiting friends in Tanzania, we planned a trip to the 'Kili'. But for preparation we decided to try to climb the second highest mountain of Tanzania first: Mt. Meru (about 5000 m high). And actually, I liked this a lot better. Not so many people, lot's of animals (a.o. large group of elephants) and amazing forests full of lychens. On the second day of the ascent we could see Mt. Kilimanjaro rising above the clouds at some 80 km's distance.

Hi Jacob
fantastic POV of the Kilimanjaro!
I liked the frame you got with the tree, and the colour in blue of the clouds and sky,
well done.

Allo Jacob,
This is a wonderful scenery with excellent POV! I love those clouds, composition and DOF with this magnificent mountain. This is very nice. I like those colors and contrast too. TSF,

Wow, what an amazing view! It actually looks like you're higher than Kilimanjaro, looking down on it. The cloud formations are great, and the hanging lichens make an unusual frame.

Very cool shot Jacob, It sounds like the climb was an experience you will never forget..I envy you :)
Just breathtaking!
