[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
An unmistakable, large, stocky weaver with rump, upper and lower tail coverts orange-red. Widespread in northern Tanzania, occuring in pairs or small groups and usually seen feeding on the ground in dry bush and acacia woodland. Breeds in loose colonies, building an untidy domed nest.
