[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This was shot in a Hippo pond in Serengeti. Most of them were sedate and few making peculiar noises occasionally. There were lot of calves in the same pond who tagged along with their mother. After spending almost an hour when I decided to leave suddenly I noticed a fight between a mother and another Hippo. It was a fierce battle and the mother at the end managed to ward of the male. Territorial fights between Hippos are often vicious and fatal. They are unpredictable and considered as one of the most dangerous animals in Africa.

Hello Subhrojyoti,
Spectacular photo in good sharpness. The low POV is from a boat, I suppose? A pity is the distracting 'thing' in the BG.
The rest of the photo is very good.
