[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Acacia or wattles are of great significance in the Savanahs of Africa. In Africa the giraffe gets it's primary diet from the Acacia tree. The stipulus are hollow and provide shelter to ants which in turn protects the plant from herbivores. They have various usages ranging from food items, gum, ornamental uses, perfume and tanin. Egyptians are belived to use Acacia in paints. Honey from Acacia flower is considered a delicacy.

A beautiful shot here of these Acacia trees in the Serengeti. It's a classic and timeless scene which you have captured quite well, with the big, puffy clouds and the wonderful Acacia on the left. Very nicely done.
