Wow, fantastic close encounter! I love the glance in the kingfisher eye, it has perfect control over you and the whole situation.
Fantastic colours, pose and BG. Close to perfect!

I just might have turned down the exposure just a little bit to make the colours even warmer. Do you have a calibrated screen, Tom? I have made a WS on this but I have reached my upload limit today... I will post this WS tomorrow if it is OK with you..

What a big beak for a small bird. Very nicely presented with outstanding exposure and excellent colors. Focus is spot on and your perspective from the boat was excellent.

A reaaly good shot on this Grey-headed Kingfisher. Nice frame filling composition. A spot on exposure has the colors and detail of the plumage looking superb. Perfect OOF backround.
