Spotted Hyena at a lion kill
Hyenas are predominantly nocturnal animals and primarily scavengers in most parts of their distribution range, but on the Serengeti Plains and in Northern Tanzania they hunt in packs.
This picture has been taken in the very late afternoon at the last light before sunset.

Hi Tom. nature some time is hard but we all eat.very good shot of the Hyena. They have very strong jaws. good detail and colour. how close were you ? very well done TFS.
