[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Taken in the Ngorogoro Crater. This male has been wounded defending his breeding rights to the females in his pride. If his wound becomes infected and he becomes ill and weakened, the nomadic male lions after his pride will kill him.

Like the saying goes, "Life is tough, then you die!"

Taken with the Nikon 8008S and a 75-300mm lens.
