I visited Africa five times without seeing a cheetah. I saw this in Ruaha National Park and managed to take three shots as it ran off. Ruaha is a small park in central Tanzania and is at a much lower altitude and warmer than the parks of the northern 'circuit'. There are large numbers of baobab and lots of lion and leopard. Lesser Kudu and Dafassa Waterbuck are quite easily seen.
I stayed at Sand River Camp.

Hi James,
Very nice capture of my favorite animal... I would love to see one in the wild but as you say it's not easy. I have been 3 times in South Africa and have never seen one. Maybe next time :D
