Hi James,
It's a wonderful shot and a fact of nature. I always say that I could never be a nurse so I find it hard to look at this too closely. It is such a good picture with fine details that a quick glance showed it all.

Hi James,
It doesn't come more natural this this, and you did a great job considering the light wasn't great - photography's all about make the making the most of what you have in front of you. Gruesome and compelling at the same time. Great shot.

To me there is no ill feeling viewing how animals take care of themselves in nature.
This is what makes photography interesting.
In my view it is not a sadistic feeling I get when taking the images of birds or animals eating their prey, but something out of the ordinary.
There is something about the colouring on this photo that gives it an intense look.
Nicely done.

Hello James, it doesn't come a lot more natural than this. This is a very good capture on your part with the two lions feeding. Good and timely shot, and good PP to convert it over.
Thanks, John

ah yes....cycles of nature...and the survival of the dominant species at times....yet sometimes death comes from unexpected. I had just learned yesterday that the vulture, which is not revered here in the US, is admired in India...I learn more every minute of every waking day....the prime instructive in a true Taoist warrior...."AWARE!"

Hello James,
Very beautiful photo of the life on the savannas. Great light and, although it's a slide, very good details and colours.
And, Selous, was to me one of the most beautiful parks I've ever been.
