This is the Green-winged Pytillia (Melba Finch). Here is the reference site I used, Finches of the World. Stunning colours. It must make it so easy for birds of prey to see them. Very good shot. Soft on focus, but who cares. It's a beauty.

Hi Zeno, You are already among my favorites. You have fantastic bird captures. I just loved each one of your pictures around the world. I also love to spot birds and I have just started taking pictures! I am already thinking of a super tele converter...This bird is fantastic, beautiful colours. Well, the moment wasn't very romantic...and I see you really love your camera...Well done. I´ll try to have mine in toilet too...maybe I can also spot a beautiful creature like this.
