Hi Toba,

This is an amazing looking lizard. What magnificent colors! Great shot of him doing his push-ups. The details of the face, skin, and feet are excellent. Looks nothing like the ones we have in Arizona.

Jane

Great reptile Tobias, lovely natural colours and a fine composition TFS

Hi Tobias,
die Echse hast du schön scharf getroffen.
Ein bisschen schade, dass der Schwanz nicht mehr auf dem Photo ist.
Grüße Tatjana

I think this is Agama agama with many names like African Rainbow Lizard. They are colroful with various amounts of blue and red, and they have habit of climbing trees (as usual). But without any books with me i cant say more about. Good capture indeed, TFS

Hey Toba,
I will not discount your age when I critique your shot!
But this is better than most grow-ups can do!
I'd be a very proud parent, if I had you for a son!
Very well done, even though,as you say, it's an ugly reptile!
Cheers!
Goldy
