CRITICISM REQUESTED - don't mind your manners!
This is a lucky shot taken at the southern extreme of Lake Victoria. I was visiting a friend doing research there, and we were cruising around on a motor-canoe-type-thing when, coming round an island, we disturbed a pair of African fish eagles (Haliaeetus vocifer). Ten minutes later, we got caught up in a storm - hence the sky.
The picture was taken with a point&shoot camera without any planning at all (it's 4 MPixels with only a 3x zoom). All I've done to it (if I remember correctly, it's been a while) is crop it to about 1/3 original size.
After the first critique (thanks Pawan!) I have unsharpen-masked it, and also played around with the levels a little bit. I was surprised that I could also make some of the grey haziness in the original disappear. |

considering the situationa and the camera used you have not done bad at all. It must be a great feeling to see such great birds of prey. Especially two of then in one go. More than anything getting to on the same shot.
Well done and its definately worth some point for posting and sharing this moment.
