5 heures et demi ! Le jour se lève sur les plaines du Serengeti. Dans quelques heures il fera déjà très chaud. Les fauves auront cessé leur chasse nocturne et dormiront à l’abri du soleil. Les dormeurs dans les lodges de luxe ouvriront alors leurs volets.

5.30 a.m ! Serengeti plains at dawn. In just a couple of hours it will be already hot. Big game will have stopped its night hunt and will sleep, sheltered from the sun. Then, luxury lodges will open their shutters.

Bonjour Patrick,
A superb shot taken at dawn to tint this herd of Zebras and Gnus with the colours of the early morning.
I like the layered effect in this composition and the grouping and placing of the animals adds to it.

Hi Patrick. Looking at your picture make me think this would be the best time to be out on the plains . The lighting and colours at this time are beautiful and you picture shows this so well. I like the four different layers of colour. The star of one more day in the hot Serengeti. TFS.
