During my trip to Tanzania, a safari-tour was of course included.
As I didn't have any high expectations about it and didn't knew what I was going to see, I must say I got a little surprised of the amount of animals that appeared right in front of my eyes. Nearly every african animal I could dream of. I think the only species I didn't get to see was the crocodile.

This is Lake Manyara, just one of many places in Tanzania where it is possible to see all the wildlife in a fairly concentrated area.

"Stretching for 50km along the base of the rusty-gold 600-metre high Rift Valley escarpment, Lake Manyara is a scenic gem, with a setting extolled by Ernest Hemingway as “the loveliest I had seen in Africa”.
The compact game-viewing circuit through Manyara offers a virtual microcosm of the Tanzanian safari experience."
