Magnificent shot for the shadow conditions.
I think you did it pretty well with the fill flash and exposure to catch this amount of clear and sharp details.
You had great timing to shot fast enough to get the bird with its prey on the beak.
Excellent composition with the inclined trunk and the nicely blurred background.
